Dance in a Time of Distance | March 23, 2021 | Tue 4pm
Presented by UHSP 2020-21 Liberal Arts Convocations (LAC) Series
University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis presents the final event of the 2020-21 Liberal Arts Convocations (LAC) series: Dance in a Time of Distance.
Dance in a Time of Distance is a 45-minute lecture-demonstration in collaboration with Dance St. Louis and Webster University.
Incorporating two new pandemic-themed pieces choreographed by Dance St. Louis Artistic Director Michael Uthoff, Dance in a Time of Distance shows "how creation in our field, dance, has continued to develop under unusually challenging circumstances that must allow for social distancing even on stage" (Uthoff).
Dance in a Time of Distance livestreams on UHSP's YouTube channel—the first ever live public broadcast of a Liberal Arts Convocations event.
You are invited to view the event on Tuesday, March 23 at 4 p.m. Please view the free livestream event here or use this link. Dance in a Time of Distance also includes a Q&A with Michael Uthoff.
