Internships
Dance St. Louis offers internship opportunities every semester to students and professionals seeking career development. We provide hands-on experience in the following areas:
• Education
• Marketing & PR
• Operations & Box Office
Interns also lend support to the daily needs and greater goals of the organization. Each participant receives access to the greater arts community and preparation for the next step in their career.
Internships are on a volunteer basis. For those seeking academic credit, the necessary documents must be supplied prior to the start of the internship team.
Schedule
Interns work 10-15 hours per week during the regular work week (M-F, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.). Days and hours are flexible.
Skills
Intern candidates must posses excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to work on standard office applications/programs, customer service, familiarity with the area to which they apply and work cooperatively with team members in a creative, fast-paced environment.
