When you make the move from buying tickets and attending performances to supporting Dance St. Louis as a member, you not only enhance your experience inside the theatre but you will impact the lives of others in your community who share the same passion for dance.

Gifts to the Annual Fund are extremely important to Dance St. Louis. When joining as a member of the Annual Fund, you can direct your gift to one of five specific funds.

  1. From The Stage Annual Fund:  Help ensure that Dance St. Louis is financially able to continue to bring you the most electrifying, breath-taking and innovative dance companies in the world.

  2. SPRING TO DANCE® Festival Annual Fund:  Help guarantee the future of this dance extravaganza, and assist in funding the 70% gap between ticket revenue and festival expenses.

  3. Dance Education Residency Annual Fund:  Your support will provide low-income students the opportunity to improve their academic work, awaken their imagination, curiosity and expressiveness, as well as nurture performance skills such as dance technique, creativity, focus, collaboration, and commitment.

  4. Dance Career Awards Annual Fund: Your support will fund tangible items such as air travel, housing and registration fees for out-of-town college auditions and summer dance intensives; tuition assistance for local dance technique classes; and purchase of tights, leotards, and ballet shoes required for technique classes.

  5. General Operating Annual Fund:  Your membership gift in support of the General Operating Annual Fund will be applied directly when any of our other funds need a boost.  It helps with a range of expenses from performances to our education and outreach efforts to daily operations and administration.
